CBSA issues final dumping determination on welded pipe from four countries

The trade tribunal is continuing its inquiry on injury to the domestic industry.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced that it made a final determination of dumping of certain carbon steel welded pipe from Pakistan, the Philippines, Turkey and Vietnam. The CBSA found no dumping on goods from Erbosan Erciyas Boru Sanayii ve Ticaret A.S. from Turkey.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal is continuing its inquiry to determine if the dumping is causing injury to the domestic industry and will make an order or finding by February 15, 2019.

Provisional duties will continue to apply on imports of subject goods until the date of the Tribunal’s order or finding.
