CBSA issues dumping determination on upholstered domestic seating from China and Vietnam

Provisional duties at rates ranging from 17.44% to 295.90% will now be payable on the subject goods

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made preliminary determinations of dumping and subsidizing with respect to certain upholstered domestic seating from China and Vietnam.

Provisional duties at rates ranging from 17.44% to 295.90% will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from customs on or after May 5, 2021.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal will now formally determine if the dumping and subsidizing are causing prejudice to Canadian industry.
