CBSA confirms dumping decision on corrosion-resistant steel sheet from three countries

The trade tribunal is continuing its inquiry on injury to the domestic industry

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced that it made its final determination of dumping in respect of certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet from Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and Vietnam, and a final determination of subsidizing with respect to certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet from Turkey.

The CBSA terminated its investigation in respect of certain exporters in Turkey and the United Arab Emirates.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal is continuing its inquiry to determine if the dumping and/or subsidizing are causing injury to the domestic industry and will make an order or finding by November 16, 2020.

Provisional duties will continue to apply on imports of subject goods until the date of the Tribunal’s order or finding.
