Tribunal maintains the injury finding on concrete reinforcing bar from China, Korea and Turkey

The Trade Tribunal says resumption of dumping would result in injury to Canadian industry

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced that it continued its finding made in January 2015 concerning the dumping of concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from China, the Republic of Korea and Turkey, and subsidizing of the aforementioned goods originating in or exported from China.

The Tribunal found that the dumping and subsidizing of the above-mentioned goods were likely to result in injury to Canadian industry.

The Canada Border Services Agency will therefore continue to impose anti-dumping and/or countervailing duties on these products.
